![]() Yes, you can even use this little gadget to tamper with the inner workings of your ECU- and unless you've learned how to do this correctly, I would really recommend against tampering with the programming- many engineers with 10-lb brains and many, many years of college and lots of resources came together to build these programs and, I don't suppose the average individual (me) can do much better. It allows you to interface, in real time, with your vehicle's ECU and monitor everything that it controls. If you scour the internet you will find a really awesome tool: the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 adapter. With the advent of modern engine management, one can no longer just give the dizzy a twist or swap out some jets or floats- technology and computers reign supreme in today's troubleshooting & repair efforts. I tried many things, and while most of them certainly had a positive effect, the issue was (is) still there.
